shrubbery
Last time I cut my daughter's hair, my husband told me that she looked like Bjork. Apparently this was not a good thing, so I haven't dare do it again. Anyway, this didn't bode well for my latest undertaking involving a sharp trimming instrument, namely some grassy shrubs that we have growing in our front yard (garden). I say growing, but since we have been there they have been brown and straggly and they're meant to be green. So they had a haircut. After a bit of thought I decided to go for a bob having read previously that it's a classic style and easy maintenance for those with little time. Or interest. We shall see if they survive, but I'm quite pleased with today's horticultural efforts. When my other half gets home he will either fall about laughing or look a little confused for a while before asking if there's a beer in the fridge.
